Govt Failed to Timely Stabilize Prices
The government hasn’t elaborated definite actions to timely respond to the global economic state of the market and to stabilize prices on domestic market of foodstuffs, Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov announced when opening the last sitting of the cabinet.

First of all, it is the elaboration of definite actions enabling to timely and adequately respond to the global state of the market, stabilize prices on domestic market of foodstuffs, render top-quality support to the socially unprotected citizens,” RIA Novosti quoted Zubkov as saying to the outgoing cabinet.
The tasks have remained in the field of tax policy that is to become the instrument of economic growth encouragement. The accelerated technological renewal of production facilities, growth of labor efficiency, efficient use of environmental assets will claim the efforts, the prime minister specified.
One of the tasks to be tackled by a new cabinet is making out the budget draft for three fiscal years. Some aspects have been considered already, Zubkov said.
