A Sq Meter in Moscow Costs Above $4,100
The price for a square meter in Moscow surged roughly 0.4 percent over a week to $4,102 from October 1 to October 8, signaled the Estate Market Indicators Survey that is released each week. The prices went up to adjust after September depreciation of the U.S. dollar.
The five-storey houses made out of brick showed the greatest growth of 0.8 percent to $4,052/sq meter, though the bearing-wall houses of same five floors were just the second with the price increase of 0.5 percent to $3,701/sq meter.
The prices for flats in the bearing wall houses of nine floors rose 0.4 percent to $3,772/sq meter. Traditionally expensive flats in the Stalin houses and in the modern houses of monolith brick surged 0.2 percent to $4,856/sq meter and $4,592/sq meter respectively. But the prices in the high-block bearing-wall houses stood still at $4,040/sq meter.
On average, the prices for houses step up 0.75 percent a month. First time in the recent months, investing in Moscow flats is profitable. Nowadays, the yield generated through the flats accounts for 0.1 percent of the bank deposit’s efficiency.
